I got started in the Pest Control Industry in 1987. Through the years, I've tackled just about every type of pest problem out there. I found that the more information I had, there better I was at my job. After just a few years, I opened GoldShot Exterminating and began specializing in all of the 'weird' pest problems. As a result, I've been blessed to have learned an awful lot about controlling critters. Hence my 'DIY Pest Control Blog'.

We're supposed to blog to help our online presence and I'll take that. But the real reason for writing this blog is to show prospective DIY Pest Control customers why you can trust us to help you find the best DIY pest control products and information. We honestly try to do things the right way - every job, every day. And we always will for as long as I own GoldShot Exterminating. When you have 4 decades of experience, you just know what works and what don't. So, as I've retired from field work, I am uniquely qualified to help the DIY Pest Controller get rid of pests.

Bats, pigeons, home seals, wildlife trapping - the deeper I dug, the more interesting - and challenging - pest control became. It's been a great career, and as I've aged (go figure!) I moved out of the field, and out of the big city. I now specialize in websites and affiliate marketing, so the decades of experience is really paying off. For me - and for you.
